When we brought our new Winemaker, Mark McKenna, on board, we knew we were asking for it. His beautiful wife, Heather, is sometimes Red and sometimes Blonde. So when he brought up the idea of Brayzin Hussy Blonde, it didn't come as a complete surprise. All of us at Bray have always believed that wine should be true to its place of origin and right for the momemt when you pop it. We love our Verdelho and Viognier but, by throwing them together and adding a little Sauvignon Blanc, we came up with something new: Brayzin Hussy Blonde. It is an easy drinking white at an incredible price and is satisfying and pleasurable without being demanding.
Brayzin Hussy Blonde is 40% Verdelho, 40% Viognier and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. Floral notes on the nose are met with a palate of late summer peaches and honey. Our first wine to be released under a screw cap, it travels well, gives it up easy, and always satisfies. What else does one really need? The only question we haven't answered is, how many can you fit into the hot tub on a Saturday night?
Come celebrate at our "blondes have more fun" release party on Saturday, August 14th, from 5:00pm to 7:pm. Enjoy sipping the new Blonde paired with a bevy of finger foods while listening to great music. Cost for event is $3.00 per person and free to Club Members.
